In 1867 Henry Roberts an English pharmacist opened his pharmacy in Florence, where he prepared distillations from the most noble of roses, Gallic to tone and refresh, Canine for its revitalising and brightening properties, Centifolia to soothe, Damascena to smooth lines, and the Mosqueta rose with skin regenerating properties.
