White Linen Army & Navy Tablecloths

These wonderful embroidered tablecloths are a real find for us, each one has never been used, but made around 30 years ago, and sadly not made any longer. The squares of embroidery represented the Army and Navy, solid squares for the Army, and the fillet lace squares the Navy. Each solid square has been hand embroidered on pure linen, each other square in a fine handmade fillet lace. Traditionally made in China, they were brought back by servicemen after the Second World War. Can be washed at 40 degrees, inside a duvet cover, to avoid any damage to the lace. Dry flat with no tumble dry, iron on reverse.
